We are in fact riding cross-country--today we're in St. Louis, having come more than five hundred miles! We ended up calling ourselves One Big Bike--check out the new blog for regular updates, and check out this write-up of our workshop in Yellow Springs, OH--

OASES to hit Columbus!

OASES, the Ohio Area Student Environmental Summit, will take place February 8th-11th at Ohio State University in Columbus, and we're sending delegates!

OASES is a conference weekend being organized for ohio students by ohio students. It's going to focus on building power, using power, and not abusing power. We're going to talk about local, regional, and global environmental issues including things like recycling, deforestation, climate change, (damn) coal corporations. We hope to end the weekend with lobbying and a direct action, and we also hope to establish a framework to get some work done as a state.

Anyone in the Oberlin area who's interested in attending and riding down with us, do email bikefordemocracy@gmail.com

Our Experimental College Course is Free and Open to the Public!
